CyrusOne Data Center (Jack County)

SE Jack County, near FM 2210 & TX-199, Jack County (adjacent to Parker County)

CyrusOne has sought a county tax abatement for a data center on roughly 300 acres in southeast Jack County, on the Wise County line northwest of Parker County. Reported as at least 144 MW and a $600 million minimum investment, potentially exceeding $2 billion across multiple facilities, with eight structures and closed-loop cooling. The county's public hearing on a reinvestment zone and abatement was delayed twice — first when the county's tax consultant missed a notice deadline — and was rescheduled to July 27, 2026. In July 2026 the North Texas Heritage Association sued the county and commissioners alleging an Open Meetings Act violation. We have not been able to confirm the outcome of the July 27 hearing or the lawsuit.
